Most any Art director, Magazine editor, Architect or Interior designer first looks at an Architectural Photographers Interiors or Interior design photography on their website to see their level of expertise. Architectural Interiors are one area of photography where you rarely get lucky. There is something very Zen about Interior Lighting and Interior Photography, it's a calm passion unless of course the sun in going down. As beauty is in the details, an extra period of refinement on an important Interior creates an image that feels whole with no flaws blaring at the viewer. It's a blend of light, colors, texture, craft and design. An Inspiring Interior photograph is crafted much like fine furniture except the tools are a synergy of creativity and technique. Good Interior lighting is subtle, the human eye is far superior to even the most modern digital cameras, the eye can see both the interior and the exterior even in bright sunlight, and no camera can do that. Modern digital technique allows us to match what the eye can see. An exciting trend we are adapting in our Interior is using people integrating with the interiors, sitting at their desk, going through the door, often slightly blurred for motion and anonymity. It gives humanity to the photography.
Timing,
geometry, texture,
ambient, warmth, light are definitive in gaining the architect`s vision.
